The "Between the Stone and the Lime" route, created with the purpose of preserving the heritage of building stone and lime quarries, restores old paths and connects different points of interest and activities, such as climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, and the leisure area of the Fraga Pools, taking advantage of the diverse landscape of valleys, cliffs, and high plateaus.
With a total length of 9.2 km, but divided into two loops of approximately 5 km each, the route traverses this mountain range and makes the location where we are one of its multiple entry points. From here, you can start a 5 km walk and explore only the Lime loop, or a 9.2 km walk to see the red stone of the Serra de Alveite, used for millstones and buildings. Dare to explore: follow the signage markers and come discover this area on foot!
